That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that it is the policy of the United States to—
use the immense leverage of the United States with the Government of Israel to force an immediate and total withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territory and an end to all Israeli airstrikes and violations of Lebanese sovereignty;
(2) immediately end all unauthorized United States participation in hostilities in Lebanon;
(3) denounce and reject efforts at territorial expansion and the illegal military occupation or annexation of Lebanese territory;
(4) investigate and prosecute suspected war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Lebanon in accordance with the War Crimes Act of 1996, the Genocide Convention Implementation Act of 1987, and any other relevant sections of the United States Code;
(5) cease the transfer of arms, equipment, and logistical support to the State of Israel, which is using United States weapons in violation of the Arms Export Control Act and the Foreign Assistance Act;
(6) prevent and punish the crime of genocide, wherever it occurs;
(7) deliver humanitarian and reconstruction aid unconditionally to the Lebanese people and facilitate and insist upon the safe return of displaced Lebanese to their homes; and
(8) redesignate and extend Temporary Protected Status for Lebanon until it is safe for Lebanese nationals in the United States to return home.
